The homie J57 of Brown Bag AllStars crew in NY hit me up with his new instrumental project featuring many talented up and coming North American producers. I know I slept on this for a few days and it dropped like a week ago, but it’s worthy of a DL, so cop that shit now if you ain’t got it already!

I know a lot of y’all are familiar with Adil Omar, but if not, he’s a dope Pakistani MC who’s been puttin it down for a minute. Me and him have been working on several projects together and in the midst of it, he recorded a song to the beat I did for a Planet Asia b-side remix. It came out so dope that he had his homegirl, and up and coming director, Shehrezade Mian shoot a video for it and I even got a little cameo in there as well!

If you like this, keep your ears peeled for the upcoming FREE E.P. “PROJECT BLACKBOOK” which is the top secret project from me and Adil. DJ SOLO – Hated In The Nation by DJ SOLO

This is my new dubstep concept album/mixtape/EP “Hated In The Nation” which contains all original DJ SOLO bootlegs, re-edits, and remixes, along with 5 original rap tracks over dubstep, drum n bass, and hip-hop, and is “hosted” from beyond the grave by the most hated outlaw punk rocker himself…GG Allin!! The goal of this mix, other than to be fun and entertaining, is to draw a clear line in the sand between what used to be considered “dubstep” and the newer hardcore style that has now evolved into something that the original dubstep fans cannot identify with and for the most part, downright HATE. I want to open the doors for hardcore bass music of all genres including dubstep, DnB, electro, and Hip-Hop, to be united without it being subject to someone else’s rules and standards. This ain’t your father’s dubstep…this is BASS PUNK!

This is the new project from Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, his wife Mariqueen Maandig, and Atticus Ross. The best way I could describe this would be, it’s like Trent Reznor’s version of Portishead. Dark, menacing, acoustic meets electronic, and topped with eerie female vocals. This is an unofficial collabo over a beat produced by DATSIK off my upcoming EP/Mixtape “DJ SOLO – Hated In The Nation”. This sounds crazy but it’s actually really dope and probably one of the most authentic “Classic Hip-Hop” sounding projects I’ve heard in a minute!

“In 2006, during a stint out west to promote his then new movie, Sacha Cohen, (aka Borat) met Daniel Dumile, better known as Zev Love X, or MF DOOM. Their blazing freestyle ciphers and mutual love of Purple Kush led to an impromptu recording of Doom’s ‘My Favorite Ladies’ verses over a beat Borat had made back in ’05 with Kulki Boolchek, a Khazak producer. Later that year Doom ventured east, and recorded three more gems with Cohen at the castle of Rudolf II in Prague, renowned for its stone acoustics. DigDug bought the master off a based-out gypsy in East Oakland and the rest is history!”
