Peace and shout out to the brother Chace Infinite
New Year, new music…expect a Self Scientific EP later this year, but for now, we hope that you enjoy this.
We feel as though the injustice that was displayed with the Oscar Grant trial, is another example of brutality, handed out by the so-called law in America. Even in today’s seemingly relaxed social environment, where a Blackman is the literal face of the nation, we are forced to deal with blatant abuse of power, by local and federal “authorities”. We have been desensitized, and have come to a point where we expect the injustice to continue, yet collectively, we do nothing. We are ALL guilty. . .guilty of allowing our brothers and sisters to be continually treated like something less than human. The current generation spends countless hours online, typing useless banter about people’s personal lives, and listening to music that barely addresses the issues that effect us. If we ain’t gon tear this muthafucka up, we at least have to say something. . .”He Says Tazer , We Say Murder”. . . FUCK THE POLICE. ~ Chace

Frank The Butcher & Statik Selektah Present “Concepts: Selektions” Mixtape
Frank The Butcher & Statik Selektah have joined forces on “Concepts: Selektions”. This mixtape is inspired by seminal classic 90′s mixtapes like DJ Doo Wop’s “Live 95″ & Tony Touch’s “50 MCs”. Frank The Butcher worked with Statik on “selecting” some of his most classic beats and revisiting them with new emcees and new lyrics. The tape features veterans like DJ Doo Wop, Dj Clark Kent, Freeway, and Consequence– underground favorites like Detroit’s Black Milk and La Coka Nostra’s Ill Bill– while also featuring lyricists like Curt@!n$, Willie The Kid, Termanology and Ro Spit — and more– all featured over Statik Selektah production.
Chace Infinite of Self Scientific / Soul Assassins is the first song to be release. The video was directed by Frank The Butcher and filmed in the L.E.S.N.Y.C. at the Prohibit Boutique on Allen street.
Frank The Butcher & Statik Selektah Present “Concepts: Selektions” Mixtape will be released in January and features 26 tracks.

Paper Thin – Bambu feat. Chase Infinite from LightWork Media on Vimeo.
The latest music video from Bambu, “Paper Thin,” pairs the Los Angeles emcee with Chace Infinite (half of the West Coast supergroup, Self Scientific). The newest song from the EP, …paper cuts… released earlier this year, aggressively attacks the active gentrification in urban America. The music video was shot in New York City, between Woodside, Queens and the Lower East Side in Manhattan. Bambu’s next project sees him teaming up with DJ Muggs for a mixtape dropping on Soul Assassins before the year’s over. Also, the highly anticipated hat collaboration between Bambu x Soul Assassins x Pnoy Apparel will drop in conjunction with the mixtape.
Full video coming soon.
While the world awaits new Self Scientific material, this is as close as it gets. As I said on the last leak, Chace is gearing up the release of the second installment of his I Would Have Killed This series. This time taking command of beats DJ Khalil contributed to the Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars video game.
