Big Lucky and Bobby from The Hundreds came by the other day and chilled for a bit. Between shopping it up and Soul Assassins, the Hundreds and a new DOPE project they are working on, Bobby took a few flicks of the inner going ons at the studio that day…….check out all the images here

DJ Djel aka Diamond Cutter is a dj & beatmaker from Marseilles (France). He was born and raised in Belsunce. It was in this popular area of downtown that will discover the dice HIPHOP 1989.
At that time, the first b.boys (Akhenaton group IAM, Faf La Rage, Boss One’s 3rd Eye …) gather at the Old Port. It also crossed the passage of American sailors who brought with them this new culture through new clothing styles and sounds. It’s up to the exit of a nearby college Trolling Djel to this place. For him, it’s a slap!
At barely 15 years, Dj Djel will try all the disciplines of HIPHOP he has discovered. It will first make a step dance. In his neighborhood that are good dancers and it necessarily influence. It will collaborate with several groups who will know very early stage. Then there is the graffiti (he still performs today most of its logo and visual) and rap (Quil prefer to leave quickly TM). It begins to look at her and drives his first afternoon with pals. He mixes rap with pieces of equipment Recycling: an enclosure and an old deck of the house, a friend relates his K7 player and another conducts an amp.
It’s a little later, as he squatted in a friend to quell the latest clips YO MTV RAP, Quil falls on a clip EPMD ( “Rampage” feat. LL COOL J) and DJ Scratch balance of sounds transformed and suddenly .. is on a musical air. It’s the click!
With little savings and few small business, he bought his first vinyls. It scans all the titles he has on hand and surveys to know and understand the techniques of deejaying.
With Garet & DJ Dr No, they mount quickly the first group of djs Marseilles: “JVC Crew”. This will be an opportunity for him to swing the first mixes at parties in squats and other places abandoned by the sea, on skateparks summer and winter snow parks …
At the same time, it causes with Pone (Designer Music & graffiti artist) to bring members of his future group: Fonky Family. And in parallel, he set up a second collection “Don’t Sleep Dee Jayz” where he collaborates with Dj Rebel (they will deliver several nocturnal emissions & Radio Grenouille). It was in reading “The Source” Quil falls on the ad, do not sleep: do not sleep, move, move …) in which he finds himself immediately.
At a party in Marseilles, he meets Dj Soon integrating the collective and with whom he released one of the first mixtape …
